Shipping & Returns – Lake Superior Soaps Co.

Orders received before 4:00pm Central Time will ship the next business day. If there will be a delay for any reason, we will let you know. Please note that because we are on an island, weather and the US Postal Service (USPS) schedule can impact our shipping times. Lake Superior Soap Co. currently uses USPS to ship orders. All shipping charges represent the USPS rate for your location and the weight of your items, plus expenses we incur in packaging your order for safe shipment. Shipping charges are not taxed.

Shipping Promotions

All customers are offered $5 flat rate shipping and free shipping for orders over $50 to US locations. Promotions shipments are sent via USPS economy service.

International Shipping

Canadian Orders: All shipments to Canada will be via USPS. You, the customer, will be responsible for all Canadian Customs fees and taxes incurred. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for shipment to arrive, assuming there are no delays at Customs.
International Orders: At present, we ship only within the U.S. and Canada.

Order Tracking

As soon as your order has shipped, we will send you an email to let you know it’s on the way. At that time, you’ll receive a tracking number for either USPS (U.S. Postal Service) or UPS, depending on which carrier was used. You can use this number to track your package online at or UPS allows you to track your shipment en route, but the U.S. Postal Service will only confirm the delivery date and location.


We stand behind our products 100%. We make products we want to use ourselves and so, if for any reason you are not satisfied, we will accept unused products within 30 days of receipt and replace or refund them 100%. To request a product return contact us. A customer service representative will assist you with your return.

Please Note the Following

1. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
2. To return an item you must request and receive authorization via phone or email.
3. Returns for damaged or incorrect orders will be replaced at no cost to you.
4. Returns due to dissatisfaction receive a replacement or a 100% refund upon return and inspection of the product(s).
5. You are responsible for return shipping charges, except in the case of an incorrect order or damaged item.
6. We cannot accept returns for used items.
